Nice tank Frank. Whoaa... that rhymed! ;)  How about a focal point in the 
aquascape? You could put a rock or a red plant near the bottom of the slope 
of Java fern. This way the slope will lead the eye right to the focal point. 
I like your BBA background on one of your tanks. This isn't the same tank is 
it?
