We tried the hot glue, but couldn't even get it to stick in the first
place. Then we tried the silicone aquarium sealent. It held for a few
months. I think The reason it finally gave out is we did a bad job
sealing it in the first place...

So far I've been to lazy to fix it. Besides, my low light tank does
pretty well without it...
