RE: Using Garden Hoses



It's okay to use garden hoses to refill your tank, as long as the hose is 
rinsed out first. The hoses contain plasticizers to keep them flexible. Water 
left sitting in the hose absorbs the plasticizers and becomes toxic over 
time, but a quick rinse will get rid of this stale, toxic water.
