I actually did exactly that when I was confounded with a hair algae
problem, and I always felt like I was imposing (Thanks again, Tom!) I
certainly, though, did not and would not ask him about his algae balls!

Tom is a great wealth of information, but maybe he doesn't want all that
much e-mail! Tom, have you ever thought about writing a book about algae
and solving algae problems in aquariums? I think you would find a
market!
