CO2 and pearling



I'm curious about the CO2 concentration people have found necessary to
provide vigorous pearling.

In my 55 gallon with 2x55 W compact flourescents, I don't see a lot of
pearling until my CO2 gets to be greater than about 23 ppm (measured with
LaMotte's CO2 kit). 

If my CO2 drops below 20 ppm, I don't see much pearling. And my experience is that even at the higher levelof CO2, pearling doesn't start until after a few hours of light.
