Hello everyone, 

I have this detritus problem. It is everywhere in the tank. Brown in
colour. On the substrate. On plants but never sticks to the leaves( just
resting on the leaves like dust). It can accumulate till it looks like dust
balls. They float around easily. A bit of disturbance(like fish rubbing
against leaves) can cause them to get suspended in water for an hour or so.
In general it makes the whole tank look "dusty". 

I had this problem twice. The first time was 6 months after the tank was
set up. I got fed up with changing the water just to remove these dirt that
comes back so fast and I just tore down the whole tank and start afresh. 
Now it is back again and I need help to remedy this problem. Someone please
help me.
