Photoperiod issue
In the past, I've had my lights on for 11 or 12 hours
per day. I had an algae problem for a while (but now
it's over). At that time, I reduced the photoperiod
to 10 hours, at which it remains. Now that I'm past
the trouble, would there be any advantage to
increasing it back to 11 or 12? What effect if any
does it have on plant growth? I've heard about
photoperiod affecting swords, but there is very little
information available.
How many hours of light is ideal?
