Members of the list,

As a writer for several publications in Tokyo and as the owner of a webzine 
promoting investments, venture capital and other issues in Japan, both in 
English and Japanese, I think I'm qualified to open my mouth and avoid 
putting my foot in it. The APD is an unmoderated, in principle, BBS that is 
aimed at futhering the aquatic plant hobby. As such people voice their 
opinions concerning any number of issues. Correct me if I am wrong but, 
[Redacted] are the issuing of statements cloaked as truth in verbal 
and written form. [Redacted]

Now as amember of the press, I take a dim view of people trying to lay blame 
at our feet. We have an obligation to be unbiased and to the report facts. 
Being human, it is hard to do these things as evidenced by the articles of 
political writers.[Redacted]
the APD is a forum similar in aspect to the coffeehouses of Vienna, the 
clubs of London, the brasseries of Montreal, the jazzclubs of New Orleans or 
the soapboxes of Speaker's Corner. The APD is not the New York Times, 
Yomiuri Shimbun, The Economist or any other prestigious rag, it is a place 
to trade information and discuss current events. What's next? [Redacted]
