Onyx vs. Flourite

I know Tom Barr and some others had mentioned a few months ago that they 
were starting to try out Seachem's Onyx sand and gravel as an alternative to 
Seachem's Flourite. What were the final impressions? I'm about to move and 
would like to replace the plain gravel in my large planted tanks with one or 
the other.
