Steve, according to the information on
http://www.ntwgs.org/articles/illegalAquatics.html, even owning Myriophyllum
spicatum in Texas is considered against the law (a misdemeanor) and
punishable by - a fine of not less than $200 nor more than $2000, a jail
term not to exceed 180 days, or both a fine AND imprisonment! The kicker is
that each individual plant of a prohibited species constitutes a separate
violation. YIKES!

I don't know what they would do to you if they caught you shipping them out
of state.
