Re Catching fish



I think Walstad mentions -- perhaps in her book -- having rocks on one
end of the tank.  This method works like this:

Encourage the fish to the rock end of the tank, place a temporary
divider in the tank to keep the fish there, remove the rocks, then
catch the fish.  This is easier than draining a lot of water, uprooting
and replanting, and must faster than bottle traps.  It doesn't require
a lot of space devoted to rocks.

It doesn't, of course, obviate the need to clean the tank once in a
while.  ;-)
