Actually. the San Marcos river runs through the SWT campus. The headwaters 
there, in the form of a spring. Built around the spring is a tourist 
attraction called Aquarena Springs. For you movie buffs, you can get a 
glimpse of the river in the Steve McQueen/Ali McGraw remake of "The 
Getaway", where they swing out over the river on a rope. Ahh, the fond 
memories of college life...
