It can get up to 6" or a little taller. Amano uses it quite a bit and is
featured in Nature Aquarium World book 3. In one of his set ups that has
almost an entire tank of it, he has it carpeting the foreground as well as
much taller growth in the middle ground. It should grow pretty easily as
long as it gets direct light and is not overshadowed too much by other
plants. I get it in sod like squares or bunches rather than potted.
Hairgrass is pretty cool.
