Water Sprite

hi!!
thanks all!

my water sprite is not doing any of this!! no babies on the leaves no nothing! what I was told is water wisteria is though, and that's just fine.

my "water sprite" puts up new shoots from the base of the plant, the older stem turn brown and die after a while.
maybe this isn't water sprite? would a picture help?
