Uhm, I think either it's a fake email, or they are just trying to scare you.
Under the first amendment, you can pretty much say anything you want unless
it poses an immediate life threatning danger. ie. Fire in a theater. So
basically you can say Petwarehouse sucks or whatever, provided you live
within the United States :) Canadian laws might be different. If you've ever
read the Magazine, Consumer Reports, they've been sued hundreds of times for
revealing the 'truth' and they've never lost a case yet, but it's different
with a business model because then you have to prove what you say is true.
So basically company's can't tell you what you can and can't say. If it's an
authentic message it's probably just a scare tactic to "protect the
business". Just like the hydro plants in San Diego, they'll say the American
Indians are extincting an entire species of salmon using fishing poles, not
the dam causing 100's of them getting sucked in and dieing daily. [Redacted]
, provided again you live in the US :) or an international
server hosting the site. Just look at all the anti-microsoft sites, you dont
think M$ would just let them continue running do you if they could shut them
down?
