Hi Roger,

You can find a foam insulating pad at home depot. It comes in 4 x 8 sheets
and is easy to cut to fit and fairly durable. It is used in insulation and
may be called foam board or insulation board. Another alternative is to get
a 3 foot level and then shim the bottom of the stand with shims until it is
level. once you do this put the tank on the stand and check it again. Be
aware that many times the plastic trim is not set perfectly level so it may
be a little off but it should still be close to level. Of coarse none of
this will help if you don't build your stand level ;-). Good luck with the
