Re: Good First Book

I have a list of books on aquatic plants on my Resource Page
http://www.knology.net/~jweinberger/aquarium/info.htm along with a
thumbnail description. I second Scheurmann's "Aquarium Plants Manual" as
the best "first book", followed by James' "A Fishkeeper's Guide to Aquarium
Plants". After that it depends on the direction you want: lots of
information with pictures (3 vols. of Baensch), coffee-table book with
large pictures of many species (Tepoot), advanced information no pictures
(Walstad), inspirational pictures of aquascapes (Amano and the pictures in
the last AGA Showcase http://showcase.aquatic-gardeners.org/).
