Cory,

Can you get an analysis of your water? You may have too high a ratio of
Mg to Ca. With water that hard, you may be able to leave out the Epsom
salts from your PMDD. You may need to still add Calcium. I believe that
Paul has said that high concentration of Mg can impede uptake of Ca and
possibly of other nutrients. You can safely boost your potassium
concentration. Try adding some substrate fertilization with N & P in it
such as clay fertilizer balls or Jobe's plant sticks.
