I've heard of that type of Java moss referred to as 'Christmas Moss'
because the branches have the shape of a Christmas tree. I think some other
people in the U.S have it too. Looks really nice in Amano's tanks. The
picture you mentioned, where it's used as a carpet plant on a rocky bottom
looks great, and it also looks great on driftwood high up in the tank.
