UV light effective to prevent algae growth?
Does anybody has a UV equipment where it is connected
to the outlet of an external filter and the water is
treated by the UV light before returning back to the
tank?
I have green water and couldn't get rid of it and the
aquarium owner recommend me this equipment. It says
that it is very effective in getting rid of green
water
(it is also effective in killing the germs and
bacteria).
Not sure if what he said is true.
