First Layer Pure Laterite

I'm thinking about adding laterite in my new tank.  Could those of you using First Layer Pure Laterite comment on your results, how long you have used it, etc.  How does it compare to Dupla.

Is it worth buying Dupla laterite through M3 before buying the cheaper First Layer laterite.  Is this basically the same stuff as Dupla?
