Care of damaged leaves & Nitrate question
I was just wondering what the best way to deal with
damaged leaves are.
I have some leaves why have holes in, or have been
chewed a bit. Is it best to just cut off the whole leaf
(provided there are other leaves to photosynthesize
with) or just the half of the leaf that is damaged?
Also, how come a tank can end up with 0 nitrates
if it's well stocked with fish? Does this mean that the
plants are using it all up. (I've just started a
Green Light stump remover dose to start to build
up the nitrate). But ever since I started my tank
it seems to have always had 0 nitrates.
