windowsill planted tank...
I am thinking of setting up a small planted tank on a deep north-facing
windowsill. This window is very tall, very bright, but it gets no direct
sunlight except around 6:30 p.m. when a small ray hits it from the west. I
plan to have fish in this tank as well. If possible, I would like the tank
to be unheated (except maybe in winter) and I would also like to NOT have
artificial light on it.
Does this sound like a pipedream, or could I successfully grow some nice
low-light plants in such a setup? Has anyone done anything like this?
