Hello Raymond,

The preferred hose is always the one designed for "potable water", i.e.
for water for human comsumption. It probably will be the RV type. It has
no algicides and the least toxic plasticizers, but plasticizers it has
and they DO diffuse (however slowly) into the water.

So, after the hose is not used for a length of time, I always flush it
with at least two volumes of water, just to be on the safe side.
