I've used those algae scrubber pads (kitchen variety) for years...always liked
them...until I came upon a algae scrubber that is shaped in the form of an oven mitt.

I purchased one last night. With your typical algae scrubber pad, it takes some
effort to do the job, with the mitt it took a fraction of the time. The only
disadvantage of the mitt is that sand got stuck in it's fibers, and with a
Plexiglas tank that's bad news.
