CO2 Reactor

A couple of weeks ago I asked a question about my Dupla Reactor
400 and the amount of water needed to inject into it for it to
work properly. Someone or some people suggested that I use a
pump dedicated to the Reactor, which I have now done.

I returned the Hagen Powerhead and got a Eheim 1048 water-pump
(which I picked-up today)and I also got a special tube adapter
from my local Irrigation store to reduce the 12mm pump tube to
the 5mm tube needed for the reactor. I am now getting a nice
healthy jet of water injecting into the reactor, however I have
now noticed that large bubbles of CO2 are gathering at the base
of the reactor (below the lower cap). Is this normal or have
I now got too much water spraying into the reactor?

TIA,

Gordon
