I've become convinced that the only permanent solution to BBA is to remove
anything that isn't alive from the tank. Bogwood is just a huge chunk of
dead matter waiting to be decomposed, and BBA is one agent in that process.
Even rocks provide a neutral hitching post for algae. Plants are evolved to
fight off algae and can do so in a properly balance tank.  IMHO, etceras...
