Having a sump doesn't prevent the loss, it just hides it.<g>  I know that a
sump could prevent it from showing, but there are other reasons I chose not
to go with a sump.  And I don't change water weekly, so I'd still need to
add water, whether I added it directly to the tank or to the sump.
