Don't worry about the Java fern leaf tips being a bit
transparent.  Under good growing conditions, it's
normal.  It's actually a sign that things are going
well. :)  If the leaf tips are totally clear without a
hint of green, then that's something else, but I
wouldn't know what.  Cavan
