I know that too.

My original pH was 7.9. After filtering with peat it came down to around 
7.0. Normally using CO2 with the peat filtering the pH was around 6.6. 
Approximately one hour after disconnecting the CO2 on the tank the pH was at 
6.3 - 6.4.

I use peat so the CO2 chart on the Krib is useless.
