My name is Tracy Szela and I found a fish that I can not identify. I
think it may be a bigmouth sleeper (Gobiomorus dormitor) but I'm not
sure. I have searched for pictures of this fish and the only one I could
find was in the Peterson's Guide to Freshwater Fishes. Do you have any
suggestions on where to look? If you could help me I would appreciate it.
I am located in Naples, FL and the fish is endangered here; I would like
to be able to properly identify it and possibly report it. Is there an
introduced species that is similar to it?
