Although I don't have that particular brand of Acrylic tanks, I have used
tanks made from plexiglass in the past, and used it when replacing faces.
THe majour disadvantages I've found with the PG is that it tends to yellow
over time, especially in bright light, it scratches easily, and tends to
bow a lot.  However, its rather difficult to break and much lighter.  IMO,
though, the advantages don't outweight the disadvantages difficiently
unless you're dealing with a massive tank... but, hey, what do I know?  I
still like the slate-bottoms. :)
