Subject: Lake Rainbow Darters for Sale
Ray Katula of Genoa, WI successfully spawned rainbow
darters (Etheostoma caeruleum) from Phalen Lake - Ramsey
Co., MN) in 1998. Questions remain how and when this species
got there with no natural outlets. Ray has previously
spawned rainbows from other parts of their range and
reports this lake variety is very different in color
and behavior than their stream counterparts. Ray has an
ample supply for anyone interested in acquiring these
lakers for either research or home aquariums. Ray can
