Subject: farm ponds
I have two farm ponds in WV. one is a surface acre, the other is about 2/3
acre. They are both stocked with LM bass, sunfish, channel catfish and some
crappie. I through in to each pond every spring about 2000 fathead minnows,
and 200 tadpoles in each pond. The problem I have is I can't get the bass to
get any bigger then about a pound, although the catfish will go as high as 8
pounds. Any suggestions on getting the bass to grow bigger?
