Marineland Closes.  On Nov. 9, 1998, Marineland (Marineland, FL) 
was
scheduled to close, providing time for officials to deal with financial
concerns.  In an emergency board meeting on Nov. 6, 1998, the 
park's
manager and most of the staff were dismissed. [Assoc Press]
