Yeah, it reminds me of what happens in those tanks of feeder fish at the pet
store.  A few fish die, adding ammonia to the water, which causes _more_
fish to die, etc.  That's why my feeder fish holding tank has a bio-wheel.
It's also why my blackworm setup has a sponge filter.
