Native Fish Conservancy (NFC)
The NFC's Exotic Removal Programs first monthly shipment of wild caught
exotics will be shipped out Friday. 200 plus cichlids of various types
will be sent to a wholesaler up north with the proceeds put to work in
conservation projects around the country. All Cichlids caught are either
destroyed due to their unsuitability for shipping or shipped out to
northern homes ......None are ever released back into the water from
whence they came.
If you live in south Florida and would like to help with this worthwhile
project or if your aquarium society is having an auction and could use
some unique species please contact us at your convenience. Please forward
this release to suitable lists/individuals.
