Re: C. veronicae

Speaking of unusual fish, I have a small colony of Ataenobius toweri,
also known as the Blue-Tailed Goodeid, which I understand is also
extinct in the wild. Also have a breeding pair of Red-Tailed Goodeids
(Xenotoca eiseni) and a small colony of Bass Goodeids (Ilyodon
furcidens). Most, if not all, goodeids are living on borrowed time due
to water use practices and development in Mexico. We should really
consider trying to work something out with the American Livebearer
Association to help keep stocks of goodeid species alive and with the
AKA for pupfish and killifish. Would also be great PR for the NFC and
maybe get some additional memberships.
