Bluntnose minnow sounds like a good addition to a planted tank. I checked
Peterson's and it shows it my area but I have never seen one. I keep 5
Flagfish, Jordanella Floridea, in a heavily planted 60 gallon to keep hair
algae under control.

I went on vacation and left the house sitter with STRICT instructions on
feeding the fish. When I came back the tank was overrun with hair algae.
From over feeding I assume. I located some Flags and they cleaned up the
hair algae in short order. Sounds like Blunt nose minnows could be a
positive addition too.
