->
-> hi
-> how do you catch those redhorses and hogsuckers?will they readily
-> enter traps? i have spotted some hogsuckers in a stream and set traps
-> there but when i retrieve them there is everything else in them but
-> hogsuckers(creekchubs,sunfish,longnose dace). are those suckers
-> smarter than other fish?or too stupid to find the entrance?

-> thanks a lot

-> patrick
I don't know about trapping them, but I have caught hogsuckers
barehanded before, as well as with a seine or dipnet, hogusckers aren't
that hard to catch if they are present..... for redhorses i would try
using a cast net if its legal in your area.
