Dear Mr. Rice,
My name is Michael Thennet and I am currently acting as the Regional
Representative for Virginia. I was a little reluctant to tackle the
position due to Grad school in August but I am very enthusiastic and
looking
forward to the experience.
I have read many of your articles over the past year which leave me
wishing
I had discovered NANFA earlier.
I wanted to know whether or not NANFA has any reservations about
advertising
applications at local pet stores? Is this legal?
I am also currently looking for a current VA specific membership list in
order to contact other VA members. I have a full March 97 list provided
by
Bob Bock but it only goes to "U". According to my list there are only 3
current members in VA? not including possible members after "U".
I'm sure I'll follow up with some husbandry questions in the future.
Any advise would be much appreciated. Thank you very much.

Michael,
If you would like to write an article about past collecting trips that
would be great... send to Bob Bock. Just general info or news could go
to the Darter editor... Konrad Schmidt usually does that but he's away
for the summer I don't have the last darter handy but the temporary
editor is named in that issue.
No problem advertising NANFA exists, but talk to Robert Rice for ideas.
Robert might also give you a current VA list his email address is
robertrice at juno_com
I would enjoy any info you want to pass my way.
