Enneacanthus chaetodon (Baird) - blackbanded sunfish
Enneacanthus gloriosus (Holbrook) - bluespotted sunfish
Enneacanthus obesus (Girard) - banded sunfish

All three of these are native to New Jersey.  You can see photos at
http://jonahsaquarium.com/picgallery.htm   Chaetodon is the least
aggressive, obesus the most.  They are all relatively easy to keep, though
I have had problems with chaetodon over the long term.  They may require
soft and/or acidic water.  Not sure.  Live or frozen foods are readily
accepted.  Some may be weened onto dry and freezedried foods.
