Re: NFC: Multi-Tank Filtration Question

Depending on your finances, there is a Plexiglas system that a lot of
petstores are using. It is about 4 feet long, and 6 feet tall and 2 feet wide
and houses quite a lot of fish for its size. It has 4 to 6 small compartments
per level with 3 levels with 2 20 gallon compartments on the bottom. It is a
pump ran system into a sump, inwhich this can be modified to what your needs
are. Mostly I've seen them as a wet-dry system and housing freshwater, marine
and reef.
I have personally setup quite a few of these systems and they are simple to
operate. Anything can be added to the sump for filtration, or in line before
being gravity fed through the system.
A few of these systems, or more, and a small run of aquariums usually are
sufficient for a small poetaster. You will not have to deal with making a
system, unless of course, you want to. It is also a time saver, for you can
have your systems up and running in a shorter time.
Hope this helps!
