Re: NFC: Redbreast Sunfish ?

Dave
they are one of the easier sunfishes to breed. I kept
two pair in a 55gal once (LOT of val) and in between
constant spats they spawnd several times a year. That
tank stocked a LOT of ponds. The new poly 'horse
tanks' would be near perfect for them.

A pair in a 40gal would be a great permanent setup, I
used ug filters and a couple airstones and it worked
for me. Regular water changes of 20% or more would be
advisable, they are hearty eaters.
