Re: NFC: Stonerollers

Yes, ignorance is the key word. I talked to some people at a local "pond"
store this spring who were draining their koi pond due to algae problems.
I tried to convince them to put a few stonerollers in it, and just got
blank stares and replies like..."native fish aren't legal", "they breed
too quickly and take over a pond" and other ignorance. I tried to educate
them, but they were too deeply meshed in the "cult of the Koi" and too
busy selling bullfrog tadpoles to gullible customers for "algae control".
(I secretly told one guy wanting to buy some tadpoles that not only did
they control algae, but the adult frogs would cull his Koi out too if
given the chance...heheheh, that didn't sit well with him)

Kristine, I have some extra Stonerollers now that need a home I would
happily give you.
