WEll I hope this helps.  I found a report at the
following site which has a very nice photograph of
Etheostoma scotti.  If you do not have acrobat reader,
you will have to download it.  Don't worry its free!  
If you dont know how to find acrobat reader just go to
http://www.google.com and type in acrobat reader and
you will be able to find hundreds of sites that will
allow you to download it.   The accompanying
publication should be of interest to us all.
