Re: NFC: Fish List, October 22nd-26th, Prices Included (HOLIDAY SPECIALS!)

Well, Mr Guppenberger is out of the fish business at
the moment, I talk to him about once a week, and he
has gone in other directions, . Mark Binkley has a
great little business and sells a dandy dip net and
many other supplies on his site. Robert has a garter
snake business that he has plugged. I recommend you
all go look at them, and I have plugged Mark's site
shamelessly, because his products are good and germane
to this list. I have often put an embedded link to
his site. Publishing a tropical fish list on a native
email list doesn't match what I come to this list to
read, perhaps it is what you want. I wouldnt mind a
message with a link imbedded that takes people to a
commercial venture. I just don't think we should make
it a practice to publish price lists of commercial
items. I don't think actwin allows that either.
However, what fish on that list has anything to do
with the NFC? Should I publish my price list for
collectibles here? How about a list of xmas
decorations for sale? There are some hybrid mollies
that sort of qualify. In addition there are banned
plants on the list. Plants that are federally banned!
I don't think commercial ventures should list their
laundry list of products on a native fish list, and if
this list goes that direction then I don't want to
read it. Nothing against Chris personally, I wish him
much success, and I am glad you found a credible
source for wood and ammano shrimp. You can also buy
those at arizona aquatic gardens:
http://www.azgardens.com/ or at Dwights place:
http://www.floridadriftwood.com/ Dwight, by the way
if you don't know him, is in the Fort Lauderdale area
in a town called Pembroke Pines. Take note what price
he sells Flagfish for!!!.... most other prices are
reasonable. We need to get back to talking about
native fish and their habitats and get away from
commercial posts.
