Re: NFC: fish euthanasia



The idea is that a fish, once held in an aquarium, may be exposed to disease
organisms that could contaminate the system it originated from.  Certainly,
this can prove true. . . . Like many others, htough, I agree that there are
times hwne its a bit more radical than needed -- for instnace, if the fish
has been put in a system with animals from its point of origin, chances are
its unexposed to anything terrible.

However, especially when mixed with tropicals, there is a fair chance that
disease organisms can come with a fish.
