NFC: Re: predator or scavenger?



I am presently keeping what I think are Red Swamp crayfish with a few
Longear Sunnies and I feed the sunnies with gambusia that I catch.. I can
tell you that I have seen the Crayfish ACTIVELY pursuing any wounded and
slow moving fish that get by the sunnies.... HTH   they are also voracious
plant eaters so if you have plants in the tanks that you plan on stocking
with crayfish... Be prepared for a bare tank shortly !!  HTH
