Higher and in a total absence of oxygen or other reactive gas. Not a home
project.

BTW, carbon will not remove simple ions like sodium, etc. It mostly grabs
larger organic molecules, but can be forced to grab chlorine and chloramine
under *exactly* the right conditions. You'll never do that with LFS chips,
tho.
